The company that runs Tinder . . . and also Match.com, Hinge, OkCupid, and a bunch of other dating sites . . . just announced they're going to start letting users run BACKGROUND CHECKS on their dates!! WHAT?? This isn't for FREE of course. You'll have to pay for the service, but they haven't said how much. It should be rolling out on Tinder in the next few months.
The question is, would you WANT to do it? Isn't the charm of first dates MYSTERY? Getting to KNOW someone? I guess it is safer that way. You wouldn't want to meet up with a murderer.
