Cardi B and Stefon Diggs turned their newborn child's umbilical cord into a piece of irreplaceable jewelry.

In videos recently shared to social media, Mommy Made Encapsulation reveals the process of turning their son's umbilical cord into a gold, heart-shaped pendant. You can see the cord get wrapped around a piece of metal until it forms a perfect-sized heart. It's then placed into a dehydrator to get dried before it's turned into gold. The video reveals the final result, which can be worn on a necklace or preserved however Cardi wants. It's not the only item she saved from her baby's birth, either.

Cardi B also had the same company convert the baby's placenta into edible capsules. The company didn't reveal how they made those, but it's a practice known as placentophagy that some mothers utilize following their newborn's birth. The capsules are made from pieces of the placenta that are dried and powdered before being put into pill form. While some moms claim the pills help with postpartum depression and other side effects from their pregnancy, there's no scientific evidence that defends the use of placentophagy.

Cardi B and Stefon Diggs welcomed their first child together on November 4. The "Outside" rapper confirmed she delivered the healthy baby boy a week later in an Instagram post after she was spotted at the gym without her baby bump.

This isn't the first time Cardi B has used the company. In their labels, Mommy Made Encapsulation notes that this is "round 2" for Bardi. The company posted similar images when they completed the process following the birth of Cardi's second daughter, Blossom. Cardi gave birth to baby Blossom last year just a month after she filed for divorce from the child's father, Offset.
