Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes revealed that he's been getting advice from seven-time Super Bowl champion Tom Brady during the offseason as his looks to bounce back from a Super Bowl LIX blowout loss.
âIâve talked to Tom a good amount this offseason, and itâs cool that he wants to give me advice, he doesnât have to be like that, heâs such a good dude and I have so much respect for him and Iâll take any advice he gives me,â Mahomes said during an appearance on Up & Adams with host Kay Adams.
Brady, 47, then with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, had previously defeated Mahomes' Chiefs in Super Bowl LV, the latter's first Super Bowl loss, prior to the Philadelphia Eagles' blowout win in February, as well as six times in the regular season and postseason with both the Buccaneers and New England Patriots.
The two quarterbacks split a 3-3 record against each other, however, Brady won both of their playoff matchups, which also included the AFC Championship Game ahead of his sixth Super Bowl with the Patriots.
âHaving Tom, a guy like that say that, just motivates me even more,â Mahomes added during his Up & Adams appearance.
