Winter weather moving through Western North Carolina are wreaking havoc on power lines across the region.

Widespread outages have been reported in all areas of WNC.

A winter storm warning remains in effect for Buncombe, Avery, Madison, Yancey, Mitchell, Haywood Counties and above 3,500' across Swain, Graham, and northern Jackson Counties.
