Katy Perry has a close-knit relationship with her fiance Orlando Bloom's ex Miranda Kerr. During an appearance on the Moments With Candace Parker podcast, Kerr even admitted she feels closer to Perry than Bloom at times.
Kerr and Bloom ended their marriage back in 2013. They share 10-year-old son Flynn Bloom. Kerr went on to wed Snapchat co-founder Evan Spiegel in 2017, eventually welcoming two more sons, Hart and Myles. Bloom and Perry, meanwhile, welcomed their daughter Daisy last year.
"We go on holidays together—we celebrate all the important milestones together," Kerr said of her modern family. "I love her. I mean, it'd be safe to say I love her more than Flynn's dad."
"To me right now, he's like a brother. And most of the time, an annoying brother," Kerr joked of her relationship with Bloom. "So she helps me deal with him because she can deal with him, and I'm so grateful that she's there. Because it just takes the pressure off me."
Kerr and Perry's close relationship isn't anything new, either. The Australian model revealed they hit it off from the first time they met many years ago. "When Orlando started dating Katy, I remember he invited me over one time and she was there, and we just immediately got along," she recalled. "I saw how she was with Flynn. She was very playful with Flynn. She was not trying to be his mum. She was just being friendly and fun, and that's all you can ask for."
