AFD will hold it's annual Fire Prevention Kick off event on September 29th from 9am - 2pm at Asheville Outlets. This a is family-friendly event sure to be exciting for all! The event is designed to bring awareness of fire prevention to the people of Asheville in an engaging and educational manner.
The event will allow people to meet local firefighters and to see different fire trucks. There will be hands-on fun events for kids and a great learning experience in AFD's inflatable fire safety house.
Many local vendors will be present and even an opportunity for city of Asheville residents to apply for free smoke alarm installations in their home.
