Brie Larson Forgets First Time Meeting Scarlett Johansson

Well, Marvel fans. You're officially just a hours away from the release of Avengers: Endgame.

I may not really be a Marvel fan, but I love seeing people get SO amped up about things like this, so I'm very excited for you all.

Plus I love both Brie Larson and Scarlett Johansson! The dynamic female power duo of the movie also appeared together on The Ellen Show and it turns out Brie and Scarlett met a while before they worked together on this movie... but their very first meeting, Brie completely forgot about.

When Ellen asked about if the pair knew each other before shooting, Scarlett went to tell a different story than Brie did. And then reminded Brie that, hellllloooo, they had worked together before! It wasn't just that they had dinner together on New Year's Eve once.

See the funny moment:

Scarlett asks Brie, "You don’t remember how we met?"

Brie thought she had the right answer, saying, "I do. At dinner."

But no, that is definitely not right. Scarlett then went on to explain that they had worked on a movie Don Jon before, but Brie said she had no idea Scarlett even noticed her during the filming of that movie because she felt like a "glorified extra."

Scarlett assured Brie she was definitely noticed.

“I noticed you, Brie. I noticed you. You were not a glorified extra."

The pair also talked with Ellen about how they each got their start in acting and Brie joked that she really feels like she only started working "3 years ago" while Scarlett has been working since she was about 6 or 7.

But that's not true! Does anyone else remember when Brie was known for her singing career back in 2009? She was clearly working back then when she was like 18 and 19!

But yeah, being in the Avengers franchise is pretty major.

Can't wait for you all to get to see the movie this weekend!!
