Once a cheater, always a cheater... right? Maybe, maybe not.
In 2017 a study was done at Kinsey Institute by Dr. Justin Lehmiller on 484 people who have cheated in the past to see if they cheated again. The study did find that they were three and a half times more likely to cheat again.
BUT! They also found some people just cheated once, and didn't do it again. They even used science to explain WHY some people cheat. People who are serial cheaters love the thought of RISKY sexual encounters. It gives them the dopamine they are apparently deficient in.
