Service Dog To George H.W. Bush Laid By His Side One Last Time

George H.W. Bush passed away at the age of 94 and he not only left behind a wonderful legacy, but a loyal dog named Sully.  Sully has been serving beside President Bush since June after his wife, Barbara Bush, passed away.  Sully gained a huge following on social media, especially in the last two months due to him being beside President Bush as his health declined.

Sully will be by President Bush's side one last time while his casket is being transported on the plane "Special Mission 41" - the name given the plane normally designated as Air Force One.   Before they boarded the plan, this photo of Sully was taken laying by President Bush's side. "Misson Complete" is the caption by Jim McGrath.  How fitting it is.

"Sully's next mission will be as a service dog helping veterans at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, the nation's largest military medical center." - ABC News
