Niall Horan To Release Live 'Flicker' Album On December 7

Niall Horan has recorded his first-ever live album and it's coming your way just in time for the holiday season.

On Tuesday (November 20), the former One Direction bandmate took to social media to reveal that he worked on a special version of his debut album, Flicker, months ago. "Earlier this year, I had the honour of recording some tracks from Flicker with a 45 piece orchestra in Dublin. I'm delighted to announce the release of 'Flicker feat. The RTÉ Concert Orchestra' on 7th December," the 25-year-old singer wrote about the collection. As per a press release, the nine-track set will feature eight reworked songs from his debut along with one previously unreleased song, "So Long".

"Flicker was an album I made that came from the heart and my heart is very much in Ireland," Horan said in the release. "Recording tracks from that album with a 45-piece orchestra was a dream come true and to be able to do it at home with the RTÉ Concert Orchestra, one of the best in Europe, if not the world, was really special."

Meanwhile, Horan also recently teased his sophomore album during his appearance on George Ezra's podcast, admitting that he wants to channel the "funky sexiness" of his hit single "Slow Hands" for the project. "That's what I'll aim for next time, not so much electric but that bit of dirt; yeah, dirt is the word," he explained.
