Sam Smith was put on the spot during his Tuesday (December 5) appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen when he was asked what he thought about Taylor Swift's long-running feud with Kim Kardashian and Kanye West. In case you missed it, the feud seemingly reignited earlier this week when Kardashian posted a throwback shot of the rapper's "Famous" exhibit with the pop star's naked body prop.
"Taylor Swift, I don't know her too well. It's been made out that we know each other, but I don't know her too well. We've only met five times briefly," Smith told the late-night host of his relationship with the pop titan. "I know Kim more than I know Taylor."
Cohen pointed out that Smith did indeed attend Tay's birthday party, but it sounds like it might not have been entirely exclusive to good friends. "Yeah, but, I think a lot of people went. I got asked to go and it was great, but I didn't get to chat one-on-one with her," he clarified.
When pressed about which team he ultimately sides with, Smith stood in the middle of it all, saying, "Well, there's no teams is there, really? I'd love to know all the details [of the feud]!"
